Didi’s Edible Adventures

{passing on this message from Didi}

Dear Friends,

I’m pleased to announce the launching of Didi’s Edible Adventures for summer 2015.

I will be leading a few exclusive trips in Dartmouth, MA in the next few months in conjunction with other notable culinarians.

Departures will include behind the scenes access to local farms including Eva’s Garden, complementary take-home organic produce from Eva’s, and a signed copy of my book Wild Flavors. End your day with an al fresco dinner made from the freshest available local meat and veggies.

I will be announcing dates soon and anticipate these departures will fill quickly. Email me now (ididemmons@gmail.com) to let me know you are interested and I’ll open up reservations to you first.

Thanks and happy eating!

2015 is the International Year of Soils!

Looks like soils are finally getting some well-deserved recognition! The UN General Assembly has declared 2015 the International Year of Soils (IYS). According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the “IYS aims to be a platform for raising awareness of the importance of soils for food security and essential eco-system functions.” For full objectives for the IYS and other great resources check out these sites:
