Your handprint is your positive environmental impact. The Wellesley Center for the Environment’s Project Handprint is creating a powerful learning community focused on environmental issues. This symposium brings together alumnae, faculty, staff, students and Friends who are interested in improving food systems, from production through consumption. Be inspired to expand your handprint!

Join Handprinter and Let’s Talk About Food founder Louisa Kasdon at the fourth annual LTAFood festival on Saturday, October 3rd, beginning at 10:30 AM. This year the festival is part of the first annual HUBweek, a weeklong series of events and experiences “where art, science and technology collide.”
The festival will feature hands-on cooking demonstrations, lectures on cheese, sugar, and meat, and even a school-food challenge!

On September 30, Gene Baur of Farm Sanctuary will visit Babson for a conversation on how the food industry impacts people and planet and on entrepreneurial opportunities for food solutions.
Gene is a food entrepreneur of the highest order, having launched his venture in 1986 selling veggie hotdogs outside Grateful Dead concerts. TIME Magazine has hailed him “the conscience of the food movement” and his writing has been featured in The New York Times, Los Angeles Times, Chicago Tribune and The Wall Street Journal. This spring he appeared on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart.
